About 1.5 Nm outside Särdal there is this sea mark with its associated bottom. Around the sea mark it is about. 15m deep. Around the dot there is a rocky bottom with large boulders and there are good chances of seeing both large lobsters and flatfish. The vegetation is abundant and varied despite the depth. The bottom outside this part of the coast is mostly pure sandy bottom but it is also possible to find species-rich places like this. This has meant that sport fishing is often carried out at this location, which results in many finds of fishing gear etc. There are several cement blocks and a lot of chain on the bottom as a result of the sea mark having worn out several times.
