The wreck of an old stone crusher lying on the starboard side. The hull started at a depth of a couple of meters and offered many different penetration possibilities. Inside the wreck there was a lot of debris and there were a lot of cables hanging everywhere.
In the spring of 2006 the wreck was salvaged. The only thing left are twisted remains and a bottom filled with craters. According to a person we met when we last dived there, in 2006, and who lived in the area, 1400 tons were supposed to have been left when the work began. Of these 1400 tons, 1000 tons were supposed to have been taken up and about 400 tons are supposed to remain, which seems reasonable based on what we saw.
The same person described those who worked on the blasting as “enthusiastic” and the blasting as “violent”. This also seems to be in line with what we have seen.
The easiest way to find the remains of the wreck is to start the dive immediately after entering the water and swim towards the starboard mark which is about 30 m from shore. It is also possible to follow the starboard mark down to the wreckage.
