Also called Kranen, Pontonkranen, Flytpråmen, Flygplan and Flydia.
The ship was owned by the insurance company AB Skandia. It sank when the tugboat Hilmer was towing the barge on its way from Gothenburg to Landskrona on February 14, 1968.
The name Flydia possibly comes from the fact that there was a salvage company in Gothenburg called Flynken that lost a salvage pontoon with a crane in the Kattegat in the 60s. The name “Flydia” possibly comes from this.
The wreck is upside down. Could be a nice evening dive.
