Årängen is not one of the most popular dive sites in Gullmarn, and one contributing reason is its bottom structure.

The bottom is only mud and it is difficult to find rock formations. However, the mud bottom has a high biodiversity, especially you can see large amounts of lobster hiding in their holes.

Down at the turning place, there is even a no stop ban, so it is a bit complicated to get down with the equipment. It is recommended to avoid diving here during the boat and summer season.
