Ablahamn

Location: Kullen.

Max depth: 18 m.

Ablahamn is a place with great variety and beautiful nature.

The dive is usually done to the right, where you first descent down to a smaller wall towards the bottom at about 18m. From there, you just have to choose which direction to swim.

You can swim out over the sandy bottom or follow the cliff edge. If you follow the cliff edge to the right, you will soon come to other small walls.

For the second dive, you can instead swim to the left.

If the weather is good and the sea is calm, you can do a slightly longer surface swim out to the cliff head. From there, you go down to 20m and follow that depth until you reach an I-beam that stands from 20m. deep up to about 15m. deep. The I-beam is usually overgrown with, among other things, sea cloves. There have also been cases of Sjurygg around the beam.

Things to keep in mind: There can sometimes be currents, but this is quite rare. Never dive in windy weather at Kullaberg, there have been a few accidents with this. Going down to Ablahamn is not recommended for the untrained. You will always get down, but after a couple of dives you should also go up.
